Introduction

Welcome to Dexyne Academy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, programmes, and services. By enrolling in our classes whether free or paid, you agree to follow the guidelines outlined here. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and supportive learning environment for all our students.

Pricing Disclaimer

All tuition fees are subject to periodic review and may be updated at the discretion of Dexyne Academy. Any changes in pricing will be communicated in advance through our official channels. Fees may vary based on the learning format (online, physical, hybrid, private, or advanced) and are exclusive of additional charges such as bank or transfer fees.

Payments & Fees

Tuition Structure: Tuition fees can be paid in full or installmental.

  • International Students: 50% of the tuition fee must be paid to secure enrollment before the start of classes. The remaining 50% may be paid in two installments of 25% each, which must be completed before the 4th week of classes.
  • National Students: 70% of the tuition fee must be paid before the start of classes. The remaining 30% must be paid before the 4th week of classes.

Non-Payment: Failure to meet the agreed payment schedule will result in withdrawal of admission, and no certification will be issued.

    Refund Policy:
  • Payments are refundable if the enrollee withdraws before the 2nd week of class.
  • If the enrollee does not commence class within 30 days of the start date, they will receive a 60% refund within 30 days, while the remaining 40% will be allocated to Dexyne Academy.
  • After 30 days from the start of class, no refunds will be issued, even if the enrollee never began classes.

Fee Variations: Tuition fees may vary depending on the learning format (Online, Physical, Hybrid, Private, or Advanced).

Free Training Programme: No payment is required for this programme, but slots are limited and subject to selection.

Certificates & Assessments

  • Certificates of Completion are awarded only to students who meet the required academic and attendance standards.
  • To qualify for certification, students must:
    • Maintain at least 90% attendance.
    • Submit all required assignments, projects, and assessments within the stipulated deadlines.
    • Demonstrate active participation in class activities, group work, and mentorship sessions.
  • Payment of tuition fees alone does not guarantee a certificate; certification is based strictly on merit and commitment.
  • Late or incomplete submissions may result in failure to qualify for certification.
  • Assessments and project evaluations will be conducted by Dexyne Academy instructors, whose decisions are final.
  • Certificates may be withheld or revoked in cases of misconduct, plagiarism, or violation of academy policies.

Disclaimer of Guarantees

  • Dexyne Academy provides education, mentorship, and resources to support your growth in UI/UX design. However, we make no guarantees regarding specific results, such as immediate job offers, freelance projects, or financial success after completing our programmes.
  • Progress and outcomes depend on the student’s individual effort, commitment, and ability to apply the knowledge and skills learned.
  • Certificates of Completion represent participation and achievement within our programmes, but they do not serve as a professional license or guarantee of employment.
  • Any testimonials, success stories, or case studies shared on our platforms are examples of individual experiences and should not be taken as a promise of identical results.

Updates to Terms

  • Dexyne Academy reserves the right to review, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time in order to reflect changes in our policies, programmes, or legal requirements.
  • Any significant updates will be communicated through our official website, email notifications, or other appropriate channels.
  • Continued enrollment or participation in our programmes after updates have been made will be considered as acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
  • We encourage students to review this page periodically to stay informed about the latest policies.

Enrollment & Admission

We welcome learners of all backgrounds who are eager to begin or advance their journey in UI/UX design. Enrollment is confirmed once registration is completed and, where applicable, tuition fees are paid in full or as agreed.

  • Paid Programmes: Admission for each cohort closes one week before the official start date to allow proper onboarding and preparation. Late registrations will only be considered if space is available.
  • Free Training Programme: Designed to make design education accessible to those who may not be able to afford tuition. Spaces are strictly limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications close two weeks before the programme start date, and selected participants will be notified promptly.

We encourage all applicants to register early, as both free and paid slots are in high demand and cannot be guaranteed once capacity is reached.

Learning Materials & Access

  • All course materials, including videos, slides, assignments, and resources, are provided exclusively for enrolled students.
  • Materials are for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, distributed, or resold without written permission from Dexyne Academy.
  • Access to digital learning resources may be time-limited, depending on the programme or class plan selected
  • Students are responsible for maintaining their own access credentials. Sharing login details with others is strictly prohibited.
  • Screen recording, video recording, or unauthorized duplication of live or recorded classes is strictly prohibited.
  • Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of access without refund, and legal action where applicable.

Attendance & Participation

Students are expected to attend classes regularly and be punctual for all scheduled sessions.

Assignment Policy:
  • Assignments must be submitted on the stipulated date and time.
  • Failure to submit an assignment means you will not be allowed to attend the next class until the task is completed.
  • In some cases, late submissions may result in restricted access to that assignment or activity.
Attendance & Certification:
  • A minimum of 90% attendance is required to qualify for a Certificate of Completion.
  • Payment of tuition fees alone does not guarantee certification—consistent participation and completion of academic requirements are mandatory.
Recordings & Cohort Policy:
  • Recordings of classes are not provided, except for complex courses at the discretion of Dexyne Academy.
  • If a student is absent but provides prior notice and a valid reason, they may be reassigned to another cohort once only. This is a one-time allowance.
  • Repeated absenteeism without notice may result in withdrawal from the programme without refund.

Limitation of Liability

  • Dexyne Academy is dedicated to providing high-quality training, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as employment, job placement, or income opportunities after course completion.
  • We are not responsible for any technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or device malfunctions on the part of the student that may affect access to classes or materials.
  • The academy will not be held liable for personal losses, missed opportunities, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or system outages.
  • Students are solely responsible for how they apply the skills and knowledge gained from our programmes in professional or personal settings.
  • Student Responsibility: Students are required to provide and maintain their own devices, internet connection, and necessary software (such as Figma or related tools) to participate in classes effectively.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dexyne Academy and its instructors, partners, or affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our programmes.

Intellectual Property

  • All course content, including but not limited to videos, slides, assignments, guides, designs, logos, and branding, are the exclusive intellectual property of Dexyne Academy and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • Students are granted limited access to use these materials for personal, educational purposes only. Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Dexyne Academy.
  • Prohibited Use: Sharing login details, recording sessions, or publishing course materials in any format without authorization is strictly forbidden.
  • Student Work: Students retain ownership of their original projects and portfolios created during the programme. However, by enrolling, students grant Dexyne Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to showcase their work (with proper credit) for promotional or educational purposes.
  • Any violation of this policy may result in suspension, termination of access without refund, and potential legal action.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from enrollment, participation, or use of Dexyne Academy’s services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.
